Hi, I'm Michelle. I have 8+ years of experience in UX and product design, and I'm currently a Lead Product Designer at the NHL, based in New York City. Most of my work comes down to solving complex problems through user-centered design and clear storytelling, done alongside cross-functional teams who are shaping strategy with me.

What I actually care about, day to day, is whether an experience is useful and efficient for the person using it, not just whether it looks good. I'm curious, enthusiastic, and open-minded by nature, and that's really what keeps me learning and pushing myself instead of settling into whatever's comfortable. I've also developed a real interest in maintaining components and leaning on design systems to build things that are scalable and consistent, rather than reinventing a solution every time a similar problem comes up.

Outside of the office, I love staying active and making the most of city life. When I'm not traveling, checking out a new bar or restaurant, or cheering on the Rangers at Madison Square Garden, I'm usually at the gym, learning a new sport like snowboarding, golf, or tennis, or spending some quiet time with a good book.
